Dogwood Management Partners is seeking a Mechanical Designer with at least 1-5 years (or Entry Level with Intern experience) experience working in a heavy industrial construction or design/build firm with an industry leading client in Atlanta, GA (The US division of a global company). This is a direct hire position and using Revit/BIM and AutoCAD 3D
Produces basic drawings and performs calculations of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire-Alarm and some Process Piping system supporting the Engineering team
Gathers and records information to be used for determining and selecting the proper equipment.
Works in conjunction with other departments to ensure there are no conflicts or interferences between designed systems development of specifications , working drawings, instructions of complex projects
Ensures that all design work is within the preliminary scope definition, and complies with all applicable building codes
Responsible for vendor drawings reviews, filing calculations in complete and orderly manner
4 year degree in Mechanical Engineering
1-10 years experience working on heavy industrial projects (Food manufacturing, Tire Factories, Medium to large Distribution Facilities, etc.) Client will consider Entry Level
Revit/BIM proficiency is a must; knowledge of AutoCAD 3D is preferred.
Experience in designing Process Utility Systems, Process Chiller/Boilers Systems, Dust Collection Systems is preferred
EIT preferred, but not required
Compensation is up to $65,000-$80,000 DOE, excellent benefits through Cigna (Company pays 85% of premium) and other perks which will be discussed if qualified.
