CERTIFIED VTC SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT

   Dogwood Management Partners, an SDVOSB, is seeking a VTC Subject Matter Expert, (who is certified per the requirements posted below) for a key leadership opening we have in Arlington, VA. This role is under a government contract and is an immediate need. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary, plus benefits. Due to the nature of this government contract, only US Citizens or Permanent Residents can be considered. Third party submissions will not be considered. Not available for remote.

SUMMARY

   The VTC / Video Teleconference Subject Matter Expert, that Dogwood is seeking, will provide Lead conference center operational support. These services include but are not limited to conference room reservations and space management, AV/IT software and hardware management, and room configuration management. Includes Unified Communications (UC) user support for WebEx, BlueJeans, and Skype for Business, Jabber, and other assistive and collaborative technology that includes software and hardware systems like Crestron, VBrick, Cisco, and Steelcase-Mediascape collaboration technology solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as the subject matter expert and final point of contact for troubleshooting hardware and software of audio visual systems and related integrated room equipment.
• Recognize complex system or equipment problems and makes appropriate corrections or adjustments.
• Apply advanced diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes and recommend/implement solutions to correct common failures.
• Troubleshoot network or facility equipment impairment and identify need for escalated support.
• Utilize functional analysis knowledge of system characteristics to provide advice on audiovisual requirements for various high profile and VIP meetings.
• Test facility audiovisual and VTC equipment to ensure a proper operational environment and configure equipment and venues to accommodate special user needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 years of directly related audio-visual support experience
• Expert experience with Crestron equipment including, but not limited to: AV room control systems, touch panels, switchers, digital media devices, and digital signal processors
• Proficiency in Crestron Studioฎ, the Crestron application for fully customizable programming, GUI design, engraving, and device setup and configuration Thorough understanding of video distribution using DigitalMediaTm driven technologies with NVX.
• Intermediate to Expert experience with BIAMP equipment and/or other Digital Signal Processing (DSP) solutions
• Experience with reviewing and understanding CAD drawings and signal flow diagrams
• Proficient in the operation of Mac and Windows computers as it relates to A/V

CERTIFICATIONS

• CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) with either a CTS-I (Certified Technology Specialist — Installation) or CTS-D (Certified Technology Specialist — Design) certification.
• Candidates need to be willing and able to obtain a Crestron DMC-E (DM Certified Engineer) within 30 days of hire
• Candidates also need to be willing and able to obtain Biamp Tesira Certification within 30 days of hire

Additionally, NEEDS a minimum of two (2)
• Intermediate to Expert experience in Simpl+Crestron Programming and debugging
• Ability to configure and commission a Crestron Fusion deployment
• EAVA - Extron AV Associate Certification
• College-level coursework in digital signal processing
