   Under a contract with a federal agency located in Arlington, VA, we have the need for a strong Cloud Security Consultant. This role is with Dogwood—we are not recruiters. This is an hourly or salary, full-time position. However, this role can also be set up on a Corp-to-Corp basis. Due to the nature of this government contract, only US Citizens with an Active DOD Secret Clearance can be considered. No third party or visa candidates can be considered.


   Role and responsibilities include review, modification, development and adaptation of security policies based on challenges posed by a multi-tenant public cloud. (Resource from Cybersecurity and Biometric Practice to provide security, and C&A / FISMA / FedRAMP compliance validation.) To be successful in this position, the candidate must display excellent teamwork skills, technical and business acumen, written and oral communication skills, and formal documentation skills.


• Cybersecurity solution design
• Experience as a Security SME for security requirements and techniques for applications and network operations
• Experience with process development, review, and redesign
• Experience with enterprise security tool support and / or architecture
• Experience in implementing and configuring security components.
• Experience in how to run a Patch and Vulnerability Management Program.
• Extensive knowledge with Secure Active Directory design
• Experience in dedicated information security where responsibilities include planning, deploying, managing, and maintaining enterprise security systems such as vulnerability management.


• Experience with Active Directory Management
• Experience with security solution design/architecture
• Experience with PowerShell Scripting
• Experience with Splunk, Nessus, QRadar or related SIEM tools
• Experience supporting a large global organization
• Federal customer experience
• Experience successfully working as a technical solution lead
• Experience drafting and briefing management
• Strong Active Directory knowledge
• Windows 2008-2016 Server knowledge
• Desired Certifications: CISSP-ISSAP / ISSEP, CEH, CCSP, CCNP
