Security Policy Analyst

Dogwood Management Partners, an SDVOSB, is seeking a Security Policy Analyst who has Information Systems Policy and Regulation experience within DHS or DOD. A full understanding of NIST / FISMA policy regulations and the ability to write well to these standards are the main requirements for this key role. This is a fulltime position in Washington DC on an existing contract offering an excellent salary + benefits. However, it can also be set up on an hourly corp to corp or W2 basis as well. Minimum Active Secret Security Clearance required. Former DHS or DHS sub agency experience is a huge plus. (We also have an ISSO / C&A and a Network Security Engineer position open at the same location and also one ISSO for Bluemont, VA as well. Due to the clearance requirements, no third party consultants or visa candidates can be considered. The keys to success for someone performing in this Security Policy role will be his/her ability to develop written security plans within the security posture of the agency while applying their security, IA, and C&A understanding to the government’s regulations and reporting requirements. The person we are seeking must be able to understand government IT security policy and perform as a key team member working with Information Systems Security Officers (ISSO’s), other government Policy Personnel, Agency Leadership, and other key stakeholders.


- A bachelor’s degree or higher
- A security certification such as Security+, CISSP, CISA, CISM, etc.
- Excellent communication Skills
- At least 5 years relevant experience in information security
- Preferred DHS information security experience (recent)
- Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) experience
- US Citizenship and min Secret Clearance – preferred Top Secret
- The ability obtain a DHS Suitability (EOD)

Although this is a salaried full time position, it can also be set up on a Corp to Corp basis.
